Wow, Cecil..! A pointed description of the bifurcation of melanin-blessed Americans. As you know, this message is frightening to many therefore they try to suppress you. Name calling, revocation of your 'true blackness' all are tactics to silence you. Frightening because if people really listen and take it to heart, many others will lose their power - hence the naked arrogance of the comment, "if you don't vote for me, you ain't black." When I heard that blatant cry from Biden for, 'what's the matter with you, fall in line behind me!', I couldn't believe it. I couldn't believe Charlamagne tha God didn't even remotely challenge it and I couldn't believe the relative crickets from the black community. Your sentiments are beginning to be shared by more and more and are important to hear - for all communities.

I truly appreciate your support. I’m on a mission to help change the negative narrative of black culture and black people. I’m going to start writing about some discoveries I’ve made concerning my family history so stay connected. ❤️

So well written and I applaud 👏🏾 this narrative. We are not victims and we don’t all support the negative stereotypes expressed by others who choose to live in a negative paradigm of existence. I’m passionate about my ancestry and I don’t participate in today’s general black community rhetoric. I know that I come from powerful people and I won’t be subject to someone else’s limited opinion of themselves nor will I live in a way that reduces my true heritage. That’s not my story and it never has been. So many people assume because I’m black that I’m voting for Biden, I usually keep quiet when these assumptions are made because I know as soon as I say otherwise my black card is getting revoked. Thank you for speaking so loudly about this.

Thanks for the kind and heart felt comment. Things are changing for the better. We all have unique experiences and stories to share. I’ve recently discovered some things about my family I plan to share. Guess what? None of it has kept my family from prospering. People need to take the time to get to know one another versus assuming you know all about me because of my skin color.

It's so chilling/funny/horrible that anyone thinks they have a right to command people how to think based on their ancestry. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. It's arrogance and ignorance beautifully wrapped up in a bow of ....uni-think, collectivist lunacy.
