Trump v Harris Debate: "Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy"
The VP did post some of her potential policies, but we all know this is just fluff and stuff and always subject to change if changing will get her in power. But hey, her values haven’t changed…yet.
Tonight, instead of getting a high end debate with two acceptable presidential nominees, we’re getting the Ren & Stimpy Show.
The DNC got rid of their aging brain dead puppet and replaced him with a fish out of water. We the people had no say in the matter. As a democrat you should be upset that this low -end, unelected Stimpy was selected (not by you) as the representative of your party. This is similar to hiring Perry Mason as your defense attorney but getting stuck with an attorney who just barely passed the bar exam and has never tried a case.
Happy happy, joy, joy; a sentence that gets you life in prison is all about perspective. Three hots and a cot, and a lover for life can’t be that bad, right?
Additionally as a conservative, I’m supposed to believe Trump is owed another term so I must vote for him. I’m not sure we the people really thought this thing through.
If Trump wins, his one term will only be successful if conservatives win the House and Senate. Otherwise it’ll be 2016-2020 all over again with accusations of Russian collusion, election interference, etc, etc, etc. He won’t be able to get anything done and could become a 4 year lame-duck president. Even if conservatives control congress, they’ll probably present a screwed up message in 2026 and get blue waved again.
We have younger better options but we won’t get to them until 2028.
In the meantime, Harris, who the DNC called up from the practice squad, is polling even with Trump. How did the first democrat to drop out of the race for the White House in 2020 become the vice president and with some of the lowest job performance numbers ever, end up being in line for the biggest promotion of her life?
Maybe choosing joy is what can make America great again.
The closeness in the polls can’t be because she’s has distanced herself from the failures of the Biden/Harris administration. More than likely it’s because she’s a woman of color and she’s got the upper hand concerning a woman’s right to murder the unborn.
It should be fairly easy for Harris to win tonight’s debate. As an attractive woman, she’ll present well on television next to Trump. She’s well spoken when asked questions she already knows the answers to. (“wink, wink”). ABC News will make sure she looks marvelous and will coax her if they sense she might be stumbling. They’re better prepared this time and won’t allow Harris to mumble and stumble like Joe did. The DNC doesn’t have anyone else in the bullpen at this point, so Harris is their “ride or die.” They won’t throw her under the yellow school bus.
Trump will lose this debate if he doesn’t control himself or if he doesn’t conduct himself the way he did when he knocked out Joe Biden. If Trump loses this debate because of his own foolishness, it’s a real possibility he will lose this election. He must stick to the topics and present facts. He must keep Harris attached to the Biden/Harris team and their 3 1/2 years of disastrous policies and decisions, while showing how she’s trying to distance herself from many of the decisions they made. Ultimately, he must act and look presidential.
January 6th will be brought up but not July 13. Gun violence will be discussed, but not as it relates to July 13. Everything that’s wrong with America and the world, from climate change, the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, to the wide open borders will be blamed on Trump. Harris will bob and weave better than Ali could have ever done. She will float like a butterfly and attempt to sting like a bee, but we all know her cackle will be worse than her bite. She’ll speak proper English because she was raised speaking proper English. Harris will find a way to convince you that killing babies before or after they are born is a women’s right even though as a country we’re still having issues defining what a woman is. Harris will deflect when it comes to owning up to the obvious failures of the Biden-Harris administration. She will call Trump a convicted felon at least once.
Some issues will be discussed but personal attacks will rule the day. Our failed education system will not be discussed. Inner city gun violence (gang violence) will not be discussed. Her decision to select Tim “I’ve never heard a story I couldn’t embellish” Walz as her VP might be brought up but again “bobbing and weaving” will be the the defense tactic used by Harris. Will I stay up and watch this event featuring the already declared winner and the challenger Donald Trump? I don’t know.
It feels as if Trump is up to bat in the bottom of the 9th inning of the World Series. The bases are loaded, and the score is 3-3. A base hit of a walk and Team Trump wins. The democrats have pulled Biden off the mound and replaced him with Harris. The count was 3 balls and no strikes but now with Harris on the mound, and the help of the umpire (MSM), the the count is 3 ball and 2 strikes. Harris looks at Trump from the mound. She gets the signal and delivers the pitch.
Will Trump at least get a base hit, or will Harris strike him out?

I read your article this AM, obviously after the debate. I am not sure if it was a single or 4 balls for a walk for Trump…not much more. Here is my response on a different substack newsletter: “It is frustrating that Trump took almost every baited trap and fought the slight instead of talking policy. Trump should have started every response with “Kamala you have had 3 1/2 years to address this why haven’t” and then went into his policy and record. Maybe, if there is a 2nd debate, he will stick to policy not become easily offended. That said, how does one fact check the opponent and at the same time state policy. It is obvious that the moderators were not fair and balanced in moderation of questions asked, tone, fact checking Trump not Kamala and holding Kamala to actually answering the point of the question. ABC allowed Kamala to lie about “fine people on both sides”, “J6 officer deaths”, “bloodbath” and “dictator” while pushing back on Trump about Haitians overwhelming a Springfield and eating pets and post birth abortions. Fact checks will show Trump is correct but much too late for the rest of the nation to know.”
