Many of us have seen the story about the young female boxer, Angela Carini, who had to box a biological man at the Olympic Games. After taking a few hits she more or less said “No más!” Her Olympic dreams shattered in 46 seconds not because she didn’t train properly, or didn’t take the experience seriously, but because she took a punch to the face from a biological man, and that shit hurt.
According to Daily Mail, after taking several punches to the face and conceding the fight, Carini, tearful, told reporters: “I’ve never taken a punch like that, it’s impossible to continue. I’m nobody to say it’s illegal. I got into the ring to fight. But I didn’t feel like it anymore after the first minute. I started to feel a strong pain in my nose. I didn’t give up, but a punch hurt too much and so I said enough. I’m leaving with my head held high.”
This was the second time her Olympic dreams were shattered. The last time she was in the Olympics, she was informed, before a bout that her father had died.
Those of you willing to twist truth and reality in the wind in order to make this seem normal should allow their daughters or granddaughters to train for a women’s event for years and then watch their dreams go down the toilet as they end up losing to a man.
Biological men don’t belong in women’s sports.
Men who identify as women don’t belong in women’s sports.
Men transitioning to become women don’t belong in women’s sports.
Biological women belong in women’s sports.
If men being in women’s sports is so pure and natural, then why aren’t biological women who identify as men beating down the doors to compete in men’s sports? Doesn’t that seem logical to you?
Since old boy, who identifies as a woman, is having a great time beating up women, “his” next move should be to box men.
Here’s a preview of what that would look like.
He (she for those easily offended) would get in the ring with a man in the same weight class and get the crap beat out of him. Then the world would crap all over the biological man for beating up a “woman” who is really a biological man.
I’ve seen many articles and post concerning this matter and it seems the majority are from women. One woman stated that men need to speak out on this matter.
She’s correct and so here I am.
Biological men don’t belong in women’s sports.
Men who identify as women don’t belong in women’s sports.
Men transitioning to become women don’t belong in women’s sports.
Biological women belong in women’s sports.
As much as men need to speak up about the matter, women’s groups need to as well. Parents need to speak up and the females participating in these events need to stop believing that maybe you’re the one that will beat that biological man and prove something. You might win, but at what cost. This same dude boxed a female in an earlier bout and busted up her face pretty bad. What if the female would have won? Is a busted up face worth it? Is telegraphing to other females that you might be able to win a good thing, or would you be putting someone else’s life in danger?
When I boxed at the Air Force Academy, I was a 175 lbs. I was not tall enough to box guys in that weight class, so I continued to lift heavy weights to stay strong but dropped my weigh and fought in the 165 pound weight class. If you know anything about boxing, you know it’s not only about strength and power but there is a great deal of finesse, speed and skill involved. Boxing, in some regards, is an art form, a brutal dance. When these skill sets are combined, it can result in an event that is beautiful to watch, where speed, skill and finesse rule the day.
However, at the end of the day, boxing is a contact sport where it is required to inflict physical pain on the other person. While sparring with a friend I put a knot on his forehead when I hit him, and that was not from a full strength punch. In an exhibition match with another college, I blooded a guys nose with very little effort. In another bout that I lost, the guy and his wife spoke with me about the fight several months later. Even though I lost the fight he said his brains were scrambled for about 2 weeks.
So imagine a biological male even as a featherweight or light weight, boxing a female. My power, just like any male, is going to come from my upper body, and then my legs. A female is NEVER going to produce the upper body power that a man can. The hands of a man are more powerful and dangerous than those of a female.
Again, while at the Academy, I had to be careful when playfully grabbing women by the arm because it hurt them. Many times my gentle grab left bruises on the arms of women.
The optics aren’t good no matter how you look at it. A biological man punching a biological woman in the face doesn’t sound right or look right. You in the audience who cheered are part of the issue as well. If you think that was a fair event your mental issues need more treatment than the issues of a biological man who thinks it’s okay to punch women.
There are some other complex issues as it relates to this matter, but I’ve decided to keep it simple as the powers that be should do. If you want to compete against biological women then you must be, without question, a biological woman; end of story.
Again, if men being in women’s sports is so pure and natural, then why aren’t biological women who identify as men beating down the doors to compete in men’s sports? When you can answer that question then I will stop talking about a female’s dreams being dashed in 46 seconds by a weak, beta male who is pretending to be a female.
I don't understand why the IOC does not follow the International Boxing Association's (IBA rules. The IBA would have a much greater understanding of boxing than the IOC would.
I saw that the referees for the Women's Soccer games were wearing the "FIFA" logo on their shirts which is the International Federation of the Football Association. Why would the IOC look to FIFA to supplies referees but not look to the IBA for similar expertise? Makes no sense at all.
Thanks for another great article, Cecil. The very simple logical answer to this question (which should not even be a question) is that people with XX chromosomes only play against other people with XX chromosomes. Same for XY chromosomes. No exceptions. Too bad our politicians can’t seem to grasp this concept. Why do we have an intelligent justice of the supreme court who refused to define what a woman is. Shameful.
